A bonus post for the daily prompt word "short". It came to me while out for an evening walk with our dog so I thought why not.
Different take on Sport for all you Gatsby fans ;) You know what I mean
i feel cool bc i got to go bc my sister is a varsity cheerleader and every athlete can bring 2 people and no one else is let in ๐
Start off with a stretch then run for a mile Stretch some more then run for a while
A poem lamenting the demise of Maccelfield Town football club, and how many other football clubs are at risk of the same fate, to the detriment of their communities.
This poem was inspired by a young man I met who loved golfing and insisted that everyone should try it at least once. This is meant to capture the parts of the pastime that he loved best.
Just a few thoughts from a bench player who doesn't have enough patience to wait for his chance. (Trivia: try to find the "dribble")
