I ran as fast as my feet could carry me. Sweat had soaked my clothes and drenched my hair, making me shiver in the early morning's coolness.
i was told letting go of the past was better. . . but it hurts the same. or it just gets replaced. . . so did i ever let go in the beginning?

Day 8 of GloPoWriMo: Laborer. There has been a lot of turmoil in my life recently...reconnecting with old friends, and leaving current friendships, so I wrote this.
