heavy fog weighs down head rusting chains bind to bed choking thorns swallow throat lightless water drowns my boat empty eyes see dark red
monotone shades cover all helpless self curls up small snakes in mind hiss and slither will and might dry and wither childish dreams, far down fall
hollow inside, outside tough head and heart pieces of fluff battered dough slapped a lot the battle nearly is all fought I won't win, I've had enough
tired eyes droop and close held in hand, a shriveled rose light is far with shining friends they come over, hand extends bring me back up on my toes
Caring for yourself, a loved one, or even a stranger, can make all the difference. Suicide is preventable. Not just this week. Not just this month. Always. Be there for your friends and see underneath their tough exteriors.
And get the help that you need. It's okay to need and receive help. It's okay not to be okay. But please, reach out to others, and take care of yourself as well.
Love y'all, stay strong!
