On of the first poems I ever wrote. Kind of an homage to my fifth and sixth grade years.

In Remembrance of What Their Faces Did

Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who is the meanest one of all? Is it the one who called me stupid? Or the three who merged into one person?

Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who is the doll of them all? Is it that girl with long blonde hair and pretty eyes? Or maybe the one of rags on the other side?

Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who is the quietest of them all? Is it the one with black and blue? Or maybe the one that wishes for a few?

Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who is the one that frowns at the clowns? Is it those who can't seem to stop? Or maybe the past that no longer pops.

Shatter, shatter, little Mirror. I can't see past it when my smile finally lasts.
