A collaboration of forty-six on dreams both dreary and delightful! Enjoy! A haiku on acceptance and the struggle faced in life. <3
// rip to the girl whose grave lies within your body // On today's prompt "lesson", this poem has its own lesson to teach, and interpret the way you guys want to 😁😉 © A poem about sharing your struggles. Thanks for reading. :) <3 Late-night confessions #9 The taste of tomorrow was a promise. I'm losing my mind, trying to keep you alive. My legs are stuck in a trance. sometimes socializing is like breathing underwater.
|| tales of a lost girl || She dies a little more each night. The blood runs deeper than the page, the shackles chafe and burn layers of skin. (Inspired by today's prompt: breaking away and the struggle of the written word.)
I had a go at writing a poem that can also be read in reverse.
It is intended to be a battle between what the heart wants, what the mind thinks and what others say when it comes to loving someone. Sometimes, the best things give you the worst things. You pull the strings to make me walk. So much so, I can't walk where I want.
I once thought I knew what it was to feel lost... Until grief befell my life.
I also have spoken word poems which you can find by searching #thoughtsofsteel on YouTube :-)
Best wishes and never stop... On overcoming struggles.
It is lucky to ring a bell from the Doi Suthep temple in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
