Hurricanes cause great destruction. They're senseless and immoral, yet, they have no clue what they're doing. As innocent as a flowers pollen. And, it seems, hurricanes make for good metaphors.

I grew up in South East Florida, about an hour north of Miami. This is a poem describing what summer was like growing up for me.
The sea only appears calm on the surface, yet what lurks beneath the surface is a hurricane which no one can surmise.
Bet you've never seen that title before. A fictional story revolving around the sad happening of Hurricane Ian 😭🌀💔
