In a different time, in a different place, there was a different way of life...
There are creatures in the forest, and they speak such kind, sweet words. Will you listen?
Iโve rewritten one of my favorite fables/fairy tales of all time (at least my favorite when I was in elementary school!)
โIn the lionโs den, petals fall and smiles scream.โ
Mirror poetry; wishes on petals: an innovative retelling about the Mad Hatter.
โThus, maddens a mad moody mockery.โ
Inspired by Wonderlandโs Queen of Hearts. As in each story that manages to awake ink, lies still a little glimpse of truth. โค๏ธโ ๏ธ
Slightly explicit, just for fun. The poem is my own adaptation of the famous Aesopian fable as retold by Lord Dunsany.
He was that one kid in school who got picked on and laughed at. Then one day, he showed the world how unique he was.
