I have this thought running through my mind. I might make it into something longer, like a short story of some sort. Let me know what you think.
A dreamy-eyed moon-gazer waiting for a savior, an innocent sap straight out of a cell, a villainous villain hungry for fun; all enmeshed, enmingled and entwined.
And I hear the ancient wheel
that spun the age of coal and steel,
its rhythm pulsing still.
