A tragic haiku sonnet. (4 haiku stanzas plus a couplet)
An unknown battle in the West Virginia mountains was about to change America forever. A Narrative Poem.
Coal has been identified from Precambrian strata. It comes before the land plants.
Anthracite is the hardest and the best kind of coal with the most carbon content and so it burns the best just like our hearts.
-memories are hazy...but life is far away from fair
