Short Poem about letting go.

Duality

It slithered around my throat again,

Whispered sanity was a fallen reign,

It choked my throat and said it was back,

Cue the darkness, and fade to black...

...but in that darkness I will be reborn,

Find myself and no longer feel torn,

For what is darkness if not my soul,

In need of light, to radiate my self-control,

So stop that slithering around my throat,

I'll use my darkness as my antidote,

So how can you be outside of me,

If I unclench my hands, and realize I'm free.
