Twenty years ago today, I bought a Compaq Presario PC at Radio Shack.
It was the first computer that I owned that was capable of getting online.
The computer in the picture isn't actually my PC. I no longer have that computer.
But the PC in the picture is identical to the one I owned.
It had 64 Megabytes of memory and was Windows 98.
This PC is considered to be junk today.
But back in 1999, it was pretty damn good.
The very first computer that I owned was purchased at Radio Shack as well.
Mom bought it for me during the Spring of 1984.
It's a Tandy TRS-80 with a pathetic 4K memory. I still own it and as far as I know, it still works.
