As we pull up to the party, Tomboy-kun waves at us.
How does he do that?
As we get out of the car, my father calls out, "We'll pick you up in a couple of hours, and if there's a problem, don't hesitate to call us, ok?"
"Yes, otousan.", I say in response.
"Love you, dear.", my mother calls out before they drive off.
"What took y'all so long? About damn time.", Tomboy-kun says.
"Shut up, baka!", Tsundere-kun says, rearing up his fist to hit him.
I put my hands on each of their shoulders.
"Wut.", Tomboy-kun says.
"Who'd ya think you're touching, jerk!?", Tsundere-kun shrieks.
"Play nice now, you two.", I say with no frivolity in my voice.
"If you don't, I will tell your mother where to find us so she can drag you home herself.", I say, looking at Tomboy-kun.
He yelps in terror.
"And me and my parents will enjoy the ride back without you.", I say, looking at Tsundere-kun this time.
"Y-You wouldn't!", he recoils.
"OH!?", I exclaim in response.
I wouldn't do any of it to either of them, but I won't let them know that.
"Sumimasen...", he says.
"It's agreed that we'll act civil, yes?", I say to them.
"He started it~", Tsundere-kun struggles to say.
I was having none of that.
"CIVIL, YES?", I say once again, louder, for clarification.
"Hai!", they both shout in unison.
"Ok, then.", I say, as we go inside where Cringe-kun and his rival is already waiting.
