The light you bring to the earth

brings joy to my heart.

The warmth you bring to the land,

cultivates my love and affection.

Your reflection on my skin,

exalts my tanned confidence.

Your twinkle in my eyes

renders positive affirmations even without saying a word.

Then you set on the west,

and I battle things going south

in hopes that the northern lights

will lead me to the east

where you will rise again.
