I see it through the crack in the door,
The floor sinks with its weight like it did before,
Shallow breaths and quiet horror,
Sniffing the air and looking around,
Wild eyes, the monster has.
If I look too close, they almost seem,
A silent gasp was all to loud,
And now the monster let out a frightening howl.
The monster has taken me,
And silenced my screams.
A quiet alley way,
And a body or two,
A sickening scream,
And a whistled tune,
I think they finally realized now,
I'm a monster.
