After the discussion about my past between me, Mio and ma'am Eliza, we went back to where Jeremy is at.
Even though we took a considerable amount of time discussing, Jeremy was still there patiently waiting for us.
When he saw us walking towards him, he raised and waved his right hand as a sign of recognizing us.
"Mio, Philip! Where have you been?"
"We went to the faculty to find ma'am Eliza."
"And what did you do?"
"Uhm...pass some requirements."
Jeremy's facial expression suddenly darkened.
"I don't like the idea of you two being alone."
Is he now at his breaking point for the actions of Mio. Wait, I'm also at fault here. I sure hope that we can calmly talk this out.
While I was there sitting, not able to say a word, Mio unexpectedly broke the ice with an forthright reply.
"You're jealous, aren't you?"
"No I'm not."
Mio stood up and sat beside Jeremy. Then she wrapped her arms onto his shoulders and started speaking in a friendly tone.
"Stop denying it, you are jealous and I'm sorry."
"You don't have to feel sorry. The one to blame for being jealous is me to begin with."
The more this continues, the more they'll feel sorry for themselves. I'll have to interfere.
"To stop Jeremy from feeling jealous, Mio, start counting him in when we do something."
Her face slightly bittered but immediately turned into a smile while giving a big nod.
Now that settles it but how am I going to include Jeremy in our plans?
Speaking of plans, my family plans on going to a beach and mama said that I could invite a friend since the cottage has two beds in one room.
I was initially planning on inviting Philip only. However, if Jeremy were to miss that, he would definitely be disappointed and jealous at the same time.
Cramming 3 people in one bed is possible so......
"Our family will be going to the beach this vacation. Will you two be available?"
The two of them agreed in unison.
Why do they seem energized?
I'm not the type of person to be excited about going to a beach yet somehow I am. My schedule isn't a busy one so any date would work. How about him?
"I'm available anytime. You Philip?"
"Same as you."
We ate our lunch and finished the classes. Before I went home, I had the last meeting with sir Nate for this school year.
"That girl annoys me."
"What was that sir?"
"Nothing, come inside. I have something important to say."
Everyone was lazing around, waiting for the school year to end when I entered.
"A famous author has taken interest in your work and is planning to give you a seminar."
"What a nice joke you have there sir Nate."
"I'm not joking. However, he's still reevaluating if it is worth his time due to his busy schedule."
Why does it have to me? I don't want to be an author but if it is for sir Nate's reputation, I'll do it. After all, the one to decide my profession is none other than me.
"He said that if he were to give you a seminar, it would be next year so.....you're not interested, your face speaks for itself."
My attention was all over the place so the only thing I understood was 'you're not interested'.
"Yes I'm not interested."
"Then this meeting is meaningless. But I'll be requiring you to join that seminar if it were to happen."
After that day, nothing really interesting happened for the rest of my school days. When the final classes came to an end, I spent my day and night playing games and reading manga.
There was nothing left for me to do except that. I was essentially waiting for Mio's message.
On April 10, Mio sent me the date.
She said that we will be meeting at her house on April 18 and that she also sent a message to Jeremy regarding this information.
I can finally be assured that they won't quarrel when I'm watching the two of them talk. Hopefully, this occurrence will help strengthen their bond as friends.
