TIME

by meghanekelly

There will come a time

Where you'll be sitting in a field Wildflowers a crown in your hair The setting sun will kiss your shoulders, your cheeks The breeze will sweep away your doubts

And you'll smile

There will come a time

Where you'll be standing in your apartment The windows will stretch from the floor to the ceiling The stars and the moon will sing you a song With the cars below providing a harmony

And you'll stare at nothing and everything at once

There will come a time

Where you'll be laying in your bed Arms will wrap around you Holding you together when you thought you'd be torn apart He will kiss your shoulders, your cheeks

And you'll want to stay in that moment forever

There will come a time

When your tears, your sweat, your fears Will fade and diminish And you'll be struck with the thought That this is where you are supposed to be, what is supposed to happen

And this is the beauty of life.
