I read old journal entries and reflected...

Thorns of His Rose

by louiseislilacs

the mono in a poly world is a fish out of water

he doesn't see the thorns his Rose possesses, but that doesn't mean they aren't there.... they pierce the heart and tear the mind

the mono in a poly world must adapt and sacrifice, or leave

neither he nor his Rose see the pain the thorns cause as they rake over fragile feelings.... there can be no pain when there exists such freedom

the mono in a poly world is erased, ignored

love comes to the rest of the garden once the Rose is watered... the garden has a hierarchy that the bee blindly follows, and he calls it freedom... some flowers wilt and die

This was interesting. I kept trying to decode the symbolic message of each stanza. I say this constructively. Proofread this and it will run smoother. Someday somewhere you have to sove some of the riddles of this piece.
