So, here is another poem that you can read in reverse.
This poem is all about the mental determination finishing and preserving through a race.
I hope that you enjoy reading it.

The Race

I triumphed in my own way

as I reached the end

Soaked in sweat, hot and bothered

my legs felt slack

Feet still pounding onward

My body self-propelled by winning desire

determined was I

my stomach filled with a gutsy spirit

My mind remained focused

at the thought of the finish line

Through all of the pain, I persisted

although I cried

I had courage

I soldiered on and

At least I tried
