Another piece to support the black community. As I’ve said to many of you with whom I’ve had the pleasure to talk, I’ll never choose silence. As a writer and a human being, I never will. I’m deeply sorry for anyone of you who has to go through insults and discriminations just because of who you are. I’m here for all of you.

To You, Racist,

To you,

To you, racist,

I’ve been hearing so many things lately:

How you keep on hating on black people,

How you keep on hating on black people, How they still get

How you keep on hating on black people, Discriminated How they still get

How you keep on hating on black people, Just because of the way Discriminated How they still get

How you keep on hating on black people, Just because of the way Their skin looks like. Discriminated How they still get

I’ve heard of,

How many of them are still

How many of them are still Heavily underpaid;

How you could literally get

Killed

Just because of The color of your skin,

And people

And people Will get away

And people Will get away With

And people Will get away With it.

And others will never care enough,

And others will never care enough, too attached to their daily, happy lives to actually do.

And others will never care enough, too attached to their daily, happy lives to actually do. They’ll just stand by and watch,

And others will never care enough, too attached to their daily, happy lives to actually do. They’ll just stand by and watch, Then move on.

Instead,

Instead, few are those

Who take actions, Instead, few are those

Who take actions, Instead, few are those Who speak words

Who take actions, Who protest, Instead, few are those Who speak words

Who take actions, Who try To make a change Who protest, For the better Instead, few are those Who speak words

Still too few people act like real human beings

Still too few people act like real human beings And back up those in need of help.

The others —

The others — As long as they are not personally affected,

The others — As long as they are not personally affected, They’ll keep on standing by, watching.

Silent shadows with

Silent shadows with No face or color,

Silent shadows with No face or color, Invisible.

To you,

To you, racist,

To you, racist, I’m tired.

To you, racist, I’m tired. I’m tired of the poisonous hatred that keeps on polluting the world,

To you, racist, I’m tired. I’m tired of the poisonous hatred that keeps on polluting the world, Day after day.

How can you not be tired,

How can you not be tired, At all?

How can you not be tired, At all? Imagine how much each one of the people you discriminate must be;

How can you not be tired, At all? Imagine how much each one of the people you discriminate must be; And now imagine being the one that has to go through it all.

To you,

To you, racist,

To you, racist, I see you in so many

To you, racist, I see you in so many People

To you, racist, I see you in so many People And

To you, racist, I see you in so many People And Actions;

To you, racist, I see you in so many People And Actions; It’s overwhelming.

I see you

I see you In the loud, inhuman screams And kicks

I see you In the loud, inhuman screams And kicks You throw at someone

I see you In the loud, inhuman screams And kicks You throw at someone To punish them for “being different”.

Because of

Because of Their skin color,

Because of Their skin color, Of their ideals,

Because of Of their faith, Their skin color, Of their ideals,

Because of Of their faith, Of their gender, Their skin color, Of their ideals,

Because of Of their faith, Of their gender, Their skin color, Of their ideals, Of their sexuality.

But,

But, racist,

But, racist, As I see you in your violence,

But, racist, As I see you in your violence, I also see you in the sorrowful silence pervading the streets

But, racist, As I see you in your violence, I also see you in the sorrowful silence pervading the streets After the kicks and punches have been thrown or derisions have been made.

I see you in that soulless shadow

I see you in that soulless shadow that has

I see you in that soulless shadow that has No name,

I see you in that soulless shadow that has No name, No face,

I see you in that soulless shadow that has No name, No face, No color.

I see you in that soulless shadow that

I see you in that soulless shadow that Keeps on staring,

I see you in that soulless shadow that Keeps on staring, Shameless,

I see you in that soulless shadow that Keeps on staring, Shameless, But never lends a hand,

I see you in that soulless shadow that Keeps on staring, Shameless, But never lends a hand, Scared they’ll have to fight too.

I see you in that soulless shadow that

I see you in that soulless shadow that Chose silence during the violence and the insults.

I see you in that soulless shadow that Chose silence during the violence and the insults. That still chooses silence.

I see you in that soulless shadow that Chose silence during the violence and the insults. That still chooses silence. That always could.

But you can still change this.

But you can still change this. You can start speaking love.

But you can still change this. Acting human. You can start speaking love.

But you can still change this. Acting human. Forget silence. You can start speaking love.

You can still make a change,

Today.
