Short Poem written by Kieran Paul Farley.

The Woman in White

The Woman in White,

a momentum to grief.

Each time she had sobbed,

marked by a leaf.

That were dotting her dress,

how she cared not.

Her positive emotions,

blocked by a clot.

Each tree that stretched,

above and beyond her.

Double again

by a pond's still water.

As leaves rained,

followed by ash.

The orange burned stronger,

as the flames began to thrash.

The flickers and splinters,

in her eyes reflection.

The heat from the fire,

did nought to complexion.

As the Woman in White

disappeared into spirit.

She smiled again,

as she did not fear it.
