Sometimes I feel a certain feeling in my body. I feel it somewhere between my chest and my stomach. It's uncomfortable- it feels like theres something heavy inside.
The times that I often notice it are: when I'm lying down to sleep, when the clock gets to around 4-5 pm,
if I've been at work for quite a few hours or if I make something and I don't know if its good.
I've come to really be grateful for this funny feeling because I see it like a little red flashing light that lets me know that it isn't the external situation that is bothering me,
but actually some problem inside that I need to work out.
It's like my body acting like an alarm clock and politely saying- 'Hey, we found this little problem, you might wanna get it sorted out so you can go back to being yourself!'
Every time I don't listen to it then the real problem starts.
The initial funny feeling is just a little tap to let me know that if I get this sorted out now then it'll save a lot of misery later.
I've found that 'sorting out the problem' is very easy. The solutions are often pretty simple.
I find that if I just meditate for 10 minutes then I can see very clear afterwards, or if I exercise I feel almost drunk with excitement for nothing in particular.
Or if I talk to someone about anything, then I feel sane and like I'm really 'here' and that I exist.
