The end of the human race is approaching :-)

Holocene Extinction

After billions of years and never ending pages The sixth extinction steps up its pace

Sets of genomes have perished through the ages Next at the coal face, is the human race

A long time ago, from a galaxy far away A meteoric maelstrom washed away the dinosaurs

And they never came out to play After many millions of years, they earned God’s applause

But Man, he looted the graves of life that once lived And robbed the life of those it shared

After not so many millions of years, a fate so contrived But just as god feared

In the end, temperature and climate went viral Now…time to wait for the next genome spiral
