A depressing christmas poem

I wrote this in a couple minutes just to get my thoughts out about something pressing

It's my birthday, but I don't feel good, so I wrote a poem

Hi, after a little bit of a writer's block, I have written something personal to me, which I believe is my best poem yet.

Written for a poetry contest with the prompt of a thought that slowly becomes an action with unexpected emotions and maintaining one clear goal or thought.

Filled with pure hatred

Simply higher because of age, you were born earlier and now you're above

It's democratic until you lose your vote
