Day 242 of a Year of Prompts! This is a slightly different style than what I've done recently. It has more of a song format than a poem format.
I saw someone as they realized that they couldn't take their money to heaven.
Approaching the end of her mortality, a woman sets off on one final hurrah with the lover she said farewell to half a century before.
Poem that again covers a fair bit of ground int he area of mortality and the value of life, I guess, but it came fairly quickly. Enjoy.
