Yesterday, I sat beside my friend Its waves were low, or so it seemed No one was there, except for the fishes and the trees
I was lost in my thoughts And worried about the stuff that went all day And tears came down, ending the thirst of the sand
Just then, it soothed me with a cool breeze And woke me up from my horrible dreams
Knowing that I had a dry throat Mr. Coconut came jumping down from the tree
I picked it up to drink the blessings of god And then came along this smiling little dog White as a snow and wagging its tail It sat beside me waiting, with the cuteness of a high scale
I served him the drink, he thanked by sitting on my lap Before I could say a word, It was time for his carefree nap
He was carefree and enjoying Despite being alone, Then why was I crying despite being with friends
The sea breezed me again, as if smiling at my thoughts The dog clutched my hand, as if smiling at my thoughts
The air, The sky, Even the empty coconut, all were smiling It was indeed a friendly evening.
