Being in a patriarchal society, where men dominate everything, is a hard place for women to live in. Everything is about men and when other genders talk about it, we are wrong.
The hypocrisy keeps showing and most of them turned a blind eye.
Toxic masculinity is harming every gender including men, and people keep normalising and romanticising it. It's turning everyone's mental health into something we do not want; it's toxic.
Every gender gets affected because of its toxicity. Due to it, men cannot become emotionally vulnerable, which makes them hide their emotion and get hurt mentally.
They hide their sorrow till they can't handle it anymore and go into depression. Men get more depression than women do and the reason is toxic masculinity.
Telling them to be insensitive and emotionless will not make them a human; emotions are the reason we are humans, they are not robots.
Women are said to be submissive and be polite instead of being themselves. It has not been like that. We created everything, to the words we speak, to the standards we created for the world.
These standards are not telling people to be themselves. No one understands the harm that is happening due to it, but are ignoring it in the name of patriarchy.
I believe everyone should be treated equally despite gender.
We all were born where there was nothing. We taught ourselves and created the world we are, but we also created the toxic environment.
We all can change the pessimistic mindset of our society if we tried to.
