Chapter one: Of to a...not so great start!
"You snooze, you lose!" Said a condensing voice. She laughed. "This is gonna be easy! Too easy!" This is Kay. Kay Osaki.
Currently number 2 on the leader board for the worldwide popular VR MMO RPG: Full Counter: Last Man Standing! As we are now, the 49th anniversary and tournament are currently going on.
This game is presently being live-streamed to the world right now. Kay- no, iiCreamPxff, Kay's in-game character, is annihilating her competition. She only has one person left to fight.
It's getting tense. The match is between iiCreamPxff and- "KAY OSAKI!" an older voice called from the other room. Oh. Well, this isn't good. This isn't good at all. "Damnit!" Kay thought.
"I told her about this! That I'd be busy! She couldn't have forgotten about it already.
I JUST talked about it at lunch!" Annoyed, Kay muted her mic, not trying to get embarrassed by her older sister and tried to calmly communicate with her.
" She half-shouted while retreating to a safer place in the game, hoping to not have to engage in combat while trying to calm the beast that she had, unfortunately, and unexpectedly, awoken.
"What do you need?"
"DID YOU STEAL MY HOODIE?" Aiko screamed
"...Which one?" Kay tried to hold her scoff in for the stupidly vague remark. "MY FAVOURITE ONE!" She screeched. kay was getting annoyed, thoroughly annoyed.
"What did she mean by 'mY fAvOuRiTe hOoDiE!' "Like hell, I'm supposed to know what your favourite hoodie is!
" She thought angrily, still pondering if it was the right idea to fight in a moment like this. Kay wasn't in the mood to get into an argument now, especially not with her sister.
Aiko was far from being a nice person. Very far from it. Yeah, Kay could admit that she was also not that nice either. But not as mean as Aiko. "How about I help you with it after.
I'm kinda....busy. Don't you remember what I told you....? I promise I'll help later!" Believe me when I tell you this. Being nice is DEFINITELY not one of Kay's strong suits.
This took her every inch of her being to perform...and it didn't even sound that believable. "..." Kay stood there, healing herself up. the silence was deafening.
"Geez, if your gonna say something, then say it already. I don't have time to wait forever-." Kay's thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the sound of a high pitch curse.
"WHAT, YOU THINK I'M STUPID ENOUGH TO FALL FOR YOUR LIES?" Aiko screamed, "BY THE TIME I GET OVER THERE, YOU BETTER BE DOING SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE OR ELSE!"
"Since when was looking for a top productive!?" Kay thought. "crap," "crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap-.
" Kay's thoughts had -and quite rudely at that- again been interrupted by the thorough sound of banging on her door.
"AIKO, YOU'RE NOT SERIOUS, RIGHT? ITS A HOODIE FOR GOD'S SAKE!" Kay wasn't having it.
"OH?" Aiko shouted. Even if you couldn't see it, you could tell that Aiko was smirking as she said that.
Suddenly, the door burst open, and through it came to the walking nightmare known as Aiko Osaki.
"AIKO, I SWEAR TO GOD-" Kay stood in front of the door almost as if she had completely reenacted the whole thing in her head just for safety.
"I'LL DO WHAT I LIKE, AND WATCH THE TONE IDIOT!" Aiko ran over to the TV and plugged out the cable. "AIKO NOT NOW, STOP-" But Aiko could care less. She wasn't even done yet.
Pushing Kay to the ground, Aiko grabbed the headset attempting to break it. Suddenly, Kay had jumped onto Aiko. Grabbing her neck, she threw her onto the floor while snatching the headset.
Aiko was quick to get up, although Kay had already taken the headset by the time Aiko had.
Kay was careful and precise with how she moved, but it didn't stop Aiko from grabbing hold of the headset. "Idiot!" Kay shouted, "Let go, you'll break it!"
"That's the point, dumbass, now let go-" And just as those last words were spoken. Crack! The headset had split in two. Although being very high technology, it was very fragile. "Aiko-...
" Nothing had been able to escape Kay's mouth. They both stopped, panting and processing what had just happened. Silence filled the room, and tension grew bigger.
The distance between them had become even more. "You..." Osaki started. "You little sicko."
