Likely my last poem about being homeless and surviving winter.
There was a man many winter ago, he froze in a ditch walking home. His death was not known until winter was over and spring melted the snow.
On a cold winter's night, sometimes, I think of those trying to survive alone on city streets.
I donโt have a home, I donโt have a family, I donโt have a dream. All I have is the night, and the night has me.
A tale of despair...and hope. A bit longer than what I have posted lately.
We should do what is right regardless of consequences
