Visibility is a difficult thing to negotiate when one is gender non-conforming, so here is a poem taking a crack at explaining why what looks back at me in a mirror matters so much to me.
It was beautiful to me watching those two wrestle for dominance over the other, beautiful woman atop beautiful man - like the battle between the dark and the light of the moon.
this is supposed to describe going for extreme amounts of time without feeling or happiness and then finally getting it back just for a moment.
