Poem 1 of 'the colors echo' series: red. when my anger is in dire need of a leash...
“In the lion’s den, petals fall and smiles scream.”
Mirror poetry; wishes on petals: an innovative retelling about the Mad Hatter.
I thought of this at night and wrote it down as soon as I could. Forgive me if it’s nonsensical, that’s how my mind simply is.
‘Farewell! Fare I, o’ fair maid, love to purchase. Turned out the charge ensues but a fraud.’
so freaking out of my comfort zone, and so very difficult. It was hard to pin the emotions, hard to find the right words. It can sound very abstruse and out of place so please drop down your thoughts.
This poem is inspired and dedicated to a very special person, of whom I had just met this year but she inspired me so much. (I am sure by the title she will know who she is)
