A Villanelle: Lost in contentment swirling in I love you's
yet, still, I wonder what it takes for us to travel from a place of false contentment to a place of true bliss. one day soon, hopefully, I'll find out.

My first short story for years inspired by a ray of sunlight through the window during office hours. (I realized writing on a scratch paper makes me look busy, so it is a win-win for me.)
What is lost in nature comes back. I long for the contentment of a life like the sand and the sea. And the grass growing after being mowed.
This little kid thinks the world needs more happy. I agree.
The happiness and glow spark differently when the desire gets fulfilled with such grace that your one-half swirls in calmness and the other half bows down with gratefulness. And if you are the source ...
Written while at sea during my time in the Navy, on a submarine. I can still remember being in my rack typing it out as it came to me out of nowhere.
