I like to think people grow in Autumn, or at least establish a part of themselves.
People go back to school or work, trying to be a better person.
I've lost and gained friends in Autumn, not sure if they mind though.
People want to be happy, so they make the preparations in Summer and try to live it out in Fall, but they almost never do it.
People need so much to be accepted so much that they all change in the exact same way, like shedding leaves of everything they were to become something which is... only technically still living.
We all change when the leaves fall, the question is what happens after you alter every part of yourself? Are you stronger or weaker? Do you no longer know what that means?
Autumn is why I don't trust their promises. Come back to me in Spring, when you feel alive again.
