Team RWBY sat together at one of the cafeteria tables. It was a normal meal on a normal day.
Well, normal for them, at least.
"Last one to finish their food owes the other a soda!"
Yang and Ruby started their usual breakfast battle, racing to finish before the other.
The food that didn't find its way into their mouths splashed sloppily across the table.
Blake and Weiss simply paced themselves through their meals, used to this daily ritual.
They also knew that it would lead to a tie, which brought them to the day's next highlight...
"Last one to the training ground owes the other a parfait!"
"You're going down!"
They dashed through the halls for their second race. Blake and Weiss, again, opted to pace themselves.
Despite this, Blake and Weiss would end up reaching the training ground first.
This was because the sisters had their race stopped by a teacher who reprimanded them on running in the halls.
"Last one to fall asleep has to do the other's laundry for a month!"
"There's no chance you're winning!"
The two hastily snuck into their covers. They began making exaggerated snoring noises, as though it would make a difference.
All it really served to do was push an already on-edge Weiss to her breaking point.
"Enough already! Just call it a draw and do each other's laundry for two weeks!"
Yet when she looked over at the two of them, they really did both fall asleep, and at the same time, too.
"How did they..."
