I sing and praise with branches lifted
the great Creator of Mother Earth!
Bestowing life to one He's gifted,
bark and leaf cry out with mirth.
Befriending creatures in the night,
my arms give visitors rest.
I see the need of birds in flight
my branches upon they nest.
I give of myself an oxygen strong
the forest poisons cleaned.
My healing balm an eternal song,
my fruits of which you've gleaned.
Though we are many, forests strong
our plea though desperate be.
Earthly inhabitants shall not prolong
our life, as the thoughtless flee.
I live and breathe for Mother Earth,
upon this rock I stand.
With mankind I find rebirth,
A native of my land.
