Walking Through My Brain

by walkingnihilist

I can't see

who turned out the lights?

voices speak mean words that have been soaked in poison

flickers of light show me the voices are not real

but it's hard to fight The flickers of light try to save me

I can't stand the back and forth

My emotions are oscillating and the lights hurt my eyes

I just close my eyes to compromise the cerebral thunder

The voices traveled into my eyes

Now the flickers of light are gone

I am a puppet to the dark

just walking through my brain
