But It Still Remains

by tejaswinidivyan

But it will still remain

She was the girl

Who managed lies And traveled distances To meet you Because, She loves you

She was the girl

Who kept waiting But was left stranded Alone, broken and crying Midnight past, yet time

It never stopped

She kept waiting Looking out for every car Every headlight seemed like yours

You broke her that day Did you know

And it will still remain

She was broken But she waited

And it will still remain

That you, You never came.

How sad and tragic. This is such an age old story. But people never learn. You wrote a beautiful poem.
