"Fire & Ice" by Pat Benatar
This is one of 80s rock singer Pat Benatar's better-known hits from her third album-of which I own (and I mean the actual LP)-Precious Time, which also contained her hit "Promises In The Dark".
"Fire" by Jimi Hendrix
Jimi Hendrix was without a doubt one of the greatest & most influential guitarists of all-time & "Fire" is one of his best-known (and shortest!) tunes from his debut album Are You Experienced.
"Fire" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers
This was a remake of Jimi Hendrix's "Fire" by popular "alternative" band the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their version of Jimi's classic tune was was "colorful" than the original as one might imagine!
"Ring Of Fire" by Johnny Cash
This is one of the late legendary country singer Johnny Cash's most classic songs. This song was written by John's late wife June Carter Cash & Merle Kilgore & has been covered by many artists.
"Light My Fire" by The Doors
This was one of the biggest (& longest!) hits of 60s rock band The Doors. Singer Jim Morrison infamously sang the "higher" lyric on Ed Sullivan's show AFTER Ed specifically told him not to.
"Fire & Rain" by James Taylor
This is about the only song I like by singer James Taylor as his music is a bit too "hippy-dippy" for my taste. This song was "banned" from many radio stations after the horror that was 9/11.
"Great Balls Of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis
This is without a doubt the biggest song of 50s rocker Jerry Lee Lewis's career. He might have had more big hits had he NOT married his 13-year-old cousin at the height of his career. Whoops!
"Fire Down Below" by Bob Seger
This actually isn't one of my favorite songs by popular 70s & 80s rock singer Bob Seger (& The Silver Bullet Band), but I figured I'd go ahead & include it on this list anyway for good measure.
"Fire Island" by The Village People
This is one of the earlier hits by 70s disco group The Village People. My favorite line in the tune is "Don't go in the bushes!" I have an idea what this line means but I'll keep it to myself!
"Fire & Ice" by Yngwie Malmsteen
This is another "Fire & Ice" song from noted "neoclassical" heavy metal guitarist Yngwie (pronounced "ing-vay") Malmsteen, though it's admittedly not as well-known as the Pat Benatar song.
"We Didn't Start The Fire" by Billy Joel
I'm actually not a big fan of this "classic" song by Billy Joel. In fact, I find it rather annoying. But the reason I'm listing it here is because I don't want anyone asking why I didn't list it.
"Serpentine Fire" by Earth, Wind & Fire
This was one of the biggest hits of legendary R & B group Earth, Wind & Fire. Plus it's got the word fire in the group name. Not my favorite EW&F song. (That would be "Shining Star", of course!)
I know there are countless other "fire" songs, far too many to list here. So if your favorite "fire" song didn't make this list, that's why!
