You are the wind, wild and free I'm clinging to you like leaves to their trees

Forbidden Love

by SynthaSpide

You are the wind, wild and free

I'm clinging to you like leaves to their trees

But you can't be tamed by reckless hands

You can't be caged, that I don't yet understand

You are the fierce river, unstoppable

Pleasing you is next to impossible

And I am the sharp rock being tossed at you

Only causing pain and infuriating you

You are the highest mountain, oh so proud

Wearing the clouds as your crown

I'm just an unlucky bird which got lost on its way

Fell for your beauty and now won't fly away.
