GOOD GRIEF

by suepace

"Good Grief," Aladdin said. "Are we there yet?"

"Soon."

"Crappola," he whined. We're lost."

"No, we're almost there. I promise."

"Those don't look like birthday cakes to me!"

"Birthday cakes?" The Genie turned to look at Aladdin. "You didn't say anything about birthday cakes!"

"I told you I wanted a beautiful dessert!" Aladdin held out his wish list. "See, it's right here!"

The Genie sighed. "You wrote that you wanted a beautiful desert before you died."

"Good grief! And now I suppose I've used up my wishes!"

"Two more to go," the Genie said. "Probably you shouldn't write them down. Probably you should just do them."

Aladdin suddenly smiled. "I wish we could start over."

"Now you are down to one wish," the Genie said.

"Good Grief! Get me out of here!"

"Now, that I can do," said the Genie. "Literally and figuratively."
