A peregrine

Soaring in on swift wings.

Diving with tremendous speed.

There is no animal quite like a peregrine falcon.

There is no animal quite like a peregrine falcon. No animal so beautiful in the same way.

There is no animal quite like a peregrine falcon. No animal so beautiful in the same way. So talented.

I watch you dive.

I watch you dive. Dive.

I watch you dive. Dive. Dive.

Those twists and spins, no human can do what you do.

You are unique.

Read on for a bonus feature!

Some facts about peregrine falcons. A peregrine falcon is the fastest living thing on Earth. In a dive, called a stoop, they can reach speeds up to 240 mph. In the wild they nest on cliffs, but many can be found living on skyscrapers in cities. Peregrines eat other birds.

Peregrine is the Latin word for "Wanderer",these birds travel far on migrations. In 1970, these birds almost went extinct from a pesticide called DDT.

So that was it. My poem was terrible, but at least I hope you appreciate the facts. Bye!
