Zamarachi Episode 2

In the morning she began training and pushing herself- suddenly after the hundredth try she felt a flare of chakra? She began training more and she felt it loosen up.

Purple chakra began emitting from her body. She felt waves of it, yet she had never been able to use it properly before. [I could try that-my imitations that I was sure would work.

] “Double rotation- imitation sharingan!” “Piercing needle, imitation byakugan!” Her eyes felt different stronger- faster- odd too.

Suddenly she could see everything- from the exact pinpoint details of a rock, to the etching of centuries worth of stone of a far away mountain.

She could see the waves of chakra radiating off of other people.

The problem was that it took a toll on her eyes- the pain almost unbearable, and she collapsed into the never-ending rain puddles. Her headband washing away in the thick rain.

~The people of the rain.~

When she woke up she found herself in a cave- the sound of rain drumming filling her ears with the rhythmic beat. “Hi!” An orange haired boy leaned over her.

“My name’s Itami, Nagato!” He enthusiastically was examining her as if he hadn’t spoken to anyone new in forever.

She also spotted a purple haired girl and a orange haired boy approaching, cloaks with red clouds flapping in the wind and rain.

“Nagato!” Demanded the orange haired boy, “we brought you in and Chibi- and you expect us to bring in another war orphan?”

Zamarachi stood up to apologise for interrupting these other kids; however the boy named Nagato stood up to speak for her- “Yahiko! I found her soaking!

She would have gotten hypothermia if I hadn’t done anything! Can’t we just help her? We know she’s no ninja- she doesn’t have a headband, and she’s perfectly fine! C’mon- what’s your name?”

“Um- um- Zamar?” She said her voice quivering like a violin’s strings after playing. Yahiko bit his lip-

“I don’t-” Just then his voice subsided to the pounding of footsteps-

“Get them- it’s those thieves!”

~The War~

They had ran off tugging her along- and she was stuck with sitting in the same cave as them- the next few days that passed was a lot of chatting and bicker and she overheard their speech.

“Leaf ninja killed our parents-” “we’re running out of food- we aren’t going to accept others” “Relax Yahiko- we can accept” “Konan! No we can’t- it’s not going to happen!

” And finally a man arrived-

“Heiwa, Yahiko- Yahiko? The Akatsuki bring a message- Hanzo of the Salamander accepted your peace proposal and wants to meet you at the original meeting place.

” Yahiko stiffened- and the chattering dropped to the dead silence of a chapel in silent prayer-

“Wish you good luck!” said the girl Konan. And that was the mistake they made.

~Mind of Zamarachi~

Narrator: Upon that day was the fateful day when Yahiko died, Konan cried- and Nagato fell as silent as the night- Zamarachi was the only one not knowing the severity of this event.

Nagato screamed in rage and promised to hate the Leaf forever- but then- our hero is in the picture.

“Nagato?”

“Yes?”

“I’m happy that you saved me.

” she fell silent a while before having the courage to continue- “And Nagato? I want to ask you something- can you please not hate the Leaf?

I kind of lied about my name- I’m-I’m Zamarachi- and I’m from that village.”

He stiffened like a plank a bit angered but looked back up- “I- I’ll forgive- you- but them- no- Hanzo will pay for this!

Now go- before Konan finds out about your identity- she won’t be so forgiving.”
