Their venom spitting tongues curled around every hurtful word. The sounds swirled around in my head, bubbling and dancing.
Somedays they call me fat. Other times they call me ugly. But I've always thought that those words were uncreative.
I could do much better.
My fingers graze the title of my newly bought book. "Dictionary," it read.
The pages flickered and fell, and with each turn, the new book smell filled the air.
I paged through the dictionary until I finally got to the words I were looking for.

Out of all of the beautiful words in the dictionary, they chose the most uncreative ones. My eyes scan the list of synonyms, each one filling me with newly found intelligence.
Yes, I thought, I could do much better.
