Many a time do I start a prayer, relishing its beauty, cherishing the sense of souring into elevations far and above confinements of time or daily bounds. Savouring the connection, loving the simplicity of dialogue. Between me and Him flows a conversation unpretentious and real. No guises. No pretences.

Instead, a relief of emotions spill as earthly screens are lifted, allowing heartfelt supplications, quietened desires, untold fears, a multitude of wishes and unspoken dilemmas, to break free from hindrance. Calmness follows. Immediate answers and resolutions although sought, must await a timing to me unknown.

Believing in a greater wisdom stirs deep comfort in the soul, prompting optimism and conviction, roseate and reassurance. Knowing I have unburdened my all, I now hope for patiently, a deliverance worthy of my prayer.
