Pendulum Series: Part Three - The Tempest

Her heart beats with the utmost tremble, and fear, her feet trailing in the dirt and mud, her heart races like its about to beat out of her chest.

Her feet stop while she hides behind one of the many rain filled trees.

The forest goes quiet but all she can hear is her own heartbeat, the loud thuds that sound like they echo all through the forest, but suddenly more noises come her way,

her eyes peaked with fear, she realizes the demons were coming for her.

She runs again on her feet taking her first few steps again; spears darted passed her slices the trees down as they cut through the forest, some closely skimming passed her,

some blood dripped quickly against the leaves . A howling roar filled the skies.

She looked back and looked up seeing the birds fly in huge flocks from her left side; she heard the monstrosities growing closer, she ran again with the dust behind her,

but she wasn't fast enough, every second they only got closer.

She started to panick more as her heart thumped in her chest, she felt them on her neck the sounds of their feet drawing more closer as she ran.

Her feet stopped as she reached the edge of a cliffside, she looked down seeing her soon rocky fate, she grabbed her chest, her heart beating, thumping harder and louder.

The savage beasts drew closer, hearing her frantic and scared heartbeat, feeling her fear, wanting to eat at her soul.

A roar filled the skies like a shout of thunder in the area, she looked back seeing them all mere feet away from her coming in close surrounding her.

The girl grasped her beating heart close and looked down the cliff, afraid of death but held more fear as she knew the fang-faced demons drew more and more near, she screamed and jumped,

leaping into the faith of believing that her death would be suitable than whatever she would of had to face if the demons got a hold of her, she closed her eyes, her body loosened, she exhaled.
