I stick my tongue out and taste the air The air tastes like his poems

Not Enough Words

I stick my tongue out and taste the air

The air tastes like his poems

And when I tell him that, he laughs

His laughter rings in the air, echoes

and echoes and echoes-

and I taste the air again

Just to see if it would be any different

It isn't.

My face in his

palms and his thumbs on my lips

"You're crazy and you're mine," he breathes

I just kiss the tips of his thumbs

There aren't enough words in this

world that I can use to make you see just how much I love you.
