What’s left of my heart is ember and stone The stone that is never light; The ember that may never ignite. I lay in bed next to you It was cold and you were blue. Expecting warmth which I shouldn’t do. -Ryan Muxlow
What’s left of my heart is ember and stone
The stone that is never light;
The ember that may never
ignite.

I lay in bed next to you
It was cold and you were blue.
Expecting warmth
which I shouldn’t do.

It just came to me, it took three months to write it though. It began as one verse, than I slowly kept adding to it.
