On finding a shell at Bethany Beach

by rsubber

Survivor among a multitude. Ravaged. Elegant. Incomplete.

A wreck of life, a silent ambush of the eyes.

Stoop to it, be wise, see the wonder in your hand.

Hold it, take it. Leave your footprint in the sand.

I really enjoyed this poem. I loved your verse structure and your terse wording kept huge ideas concise with no waste. Great post!!!!
