The Clocks

Tick tock, tick tock

Is all that can be heard 

In this exam room

Over and over

Till it stops

Now the silence is deafening

As the class is empty

Lights turned off,

Fans turned off

As the darkness swallows the room

All that can be seen is pitch black 

'Til the human eyes adapt

Still not see clearly 

What hides in the darkness?

In the silence of the shadows?

As I sit in this corner

Being suffocated by loneliness

Then all of a sudden 

Tick tock, tick tock

The clocks went 

As a warning

That the darkness

Will be over once again
