Odin (Old Norse: Óðinn) is the god of wisdom, poetry, death, divination, and magic. ... A defining feature of Odin is his being one-eyed, a result of him having sacrificed an eye to drink from the Well of Urðr, which granted him an incomprehensible amount of knowledge of the universe.

Thank you for reading!

The man has no nation

I once visited a church whose mausoleum steps had been so worn down that the rain would've made puddles out of every single footprint.

Now I find myself in a confined space made of polished stones whose form reveals a silhouette akin to those ponds.

except this one has the shape of a curled up man.

one who spent the last two centuries in such a concave state that even the rocks have been modeled by the force of his weight.

And in this space there's only a small hole not exactly a window because this one is barred up.

and room is neither cold nor hot, and humidity is not an issue either.

Almost as if the place did not really exist at least not in the shapes we are accustomed to look at.

Then, when I inspect my palms or the skin that surrounds my fingernails, I see no traces of a life that's been outstripped by necessity.

It must therefore be a place I chose; a kind of limbo for the raw a space in which to cure and get ready for the day

One in which the sacrifice will be staked up high enough for the Gods to notice and visit us down in this humble abode.

What else is there to do in a place of privation one to make the stoic, shudder and shake his head in disbelief for no human should be stripped of house, wealth, and family.
