Broken promises left me all alone Teardrops falling like the cold dampened rains Broken , I thought I was now on my own All the love I had given was in vain

But then I found you sitting on a park bench You asked me if I was okay and smiled I smiled back though my lonely heart was drenched I found you charming yet ever so wild

You tamed my heart and became its master With every smile I fell Deeper in love You filled the hole in my Soul like plaster I must have been blessed By the Gods above

We were two lonely souls sitting outside Finding love, forever smiling inside
